Carnalea Golf Club, with its stunning views has a wide and varied social calendar of events of our members and their guest.
With our clubhouse, our well-stocked bar and our, well, superb hospitality and catering teams, we are all set for exciting social events. Get to know your fellow members and become an integral part of the club?

We are always open to ideas for social events at Carnalea Golf Club; we’d welcome your ideas and suggestions – as well as any organisational expertise and time.

The social calendar at Carnalea Club brings plenty of opportunities to nurture that sense of humour and alleviate stress.

General Social Events

We try to bring a variety of different acts to suit the different genre our members like. Our annual social events include our music in the bar, themed evenings with entertainment and fantastic themed food from our catering team, Children’s parties at Halloween and Christmas along with our Golf competition related nights and we look forward to the New Year’s Eve dinner to dance the night (and year) away.

Quiz Nights

We all love our quiz nights. We host those quiz nights a few times a year, so start revising your Trivial Pursuits or watch the Chase. We’re not saying it’s competitive but…

Steak Nights

Steak night pop up from time to time to tempt you.

Presentations

The end-of-season presentation of cups takes place in the autumn. This is a magnificent night, featuring the presentation of the major awards, following some great music and outstanding food from JAG Catering

Bridge/Card evening

During the winter months (October to March), on alternate Tuesday evenings which is open to all Lady members and their guests. At the end of the Season the Lady Captain has a charity card evening with all funds going to her chosen charity.

Indoor Bowls

Carnalea members can participate in Indoor Short Mat Bowling as part of their membership. Bowling also takes place from October through March in the main clubhouse lounge.

The Club now has a bowling team, which play in a league with local golf clubs.

Bingo

Carnalea members their guests can partake in Bingo. This is held fortnightly on a Thursday evening.
